The upper meditation platform window with rose geometry .
Les Baxter form Architectural glass works completing final requirements as per the clients requests. precision , delicacy , balance ( on the scaffolding that is ! ) and absolute dedication to the project and work.
So what is the rose geometry all about ?A rose is a perfect example in nature of the unfolding of a golden mean spiral, which is nature’s geometry of being a perfectly embedded part within the whole. When you look at a rose, it is easy to see the spiral geometry. A symbol, in this case, the spiral, is the mirror of the geometrical shape to which it resonates. Archetypal symbols, such as sacred geometries, are designed to reach through themselves, to the natural law or organizing principle held within their structure!
In order for symbols to work, they need to aid in the process of creating the inner form in the brain of the shape that the symbol represents in a larger fractal field. This is why the symbol of the spiral was chosen, as a memory trigger of our innate health and well being as a natural part of a larger cosmos. The rainbow colored rose entrance window one sees when walking up to the centre, was designed to perfectly hold the geometrical symmetry of this unfolding golden mean spiral design and thus to constantly, naturally emit the healing frequency intrinsic to its sacred design. The colors of the rose were chosen to reflect the full spectrum of healing light in which each person who walks into the Moonee Ponds Centre, is naturally bathed.
The geometry that is implied if you holographically* connected all the lines of the rose design of the front window, is called the tube torus geometry which is the primal shape of the Universe. It is a self-reflective, self generating geometry, that is, as a geometrical shape, with no outside energy added, able to continue to create its own movement, turning in on itself and coming back out again. In essence, the tube torus is an energy generator, spiraling inwardly and outwardly, which is obvious as to why symbolically it was placed at the entrance of the building.
