Regarding the Power of Color as it Relates to a Healing Environment.

Everything in the manifest Universe is made up of vibration.
(Physicists call this phenomenon “String Theory”.)
Color represents a certain section of the vibrational spectrum of all created matter, that part which we can “see”. Essentially color and sound are the same thing, just different frequency bands of vibratory expression of one continuum. When you put sand on a drum head and introduce a pure tone, a geometric pattern suddenly appears, from the sand which gathers at nodes that vibrate at that frequency. This science is called Cymatics and clearly demonstrates how invisible sound becomes manifest form, consequently showing that sacred geometries underlie and structure the whole of manifested reality!
Robert Lawlor in his book Sacred Geometry speaks of this very eloquently: “Our different perceptual faculties such as sight, hearing, touch and smell are a result of various proportioned reductions of one vast spectrum of vibratory frequencies. We can understand these proportional relationships as a sort of geometry of perception.” (The charts on this blog are also available in this book , as they will be difficult to see clearly on here)
Essentially simplified, sound becomes light, light becomes color, light/color and sound vibration become form.
Thus one can see that color is a very important tool for bringing into form such effects as are defined or identified as being “healing”. Take a close look at the two charts below which offer a very concise and clear picture of where the visible color and sound spectrum fit into the overall vibratory pattern of creation. These charts are derived from the science of frequency and denote the vibrations per second of each “color”, the spectrum manifestation, tone in sound and the chemical element which vibrates at the same frequency range.
