'the lost art of sacred building'

This blog has investigated the importance of designing based on the key principles of sacred geometry and energetic awareness for the purpose of healing.

The project is Moonee Ponds MindBody Helath Centre in Melbourne, Victoria.

Please enjoy the diary adventure of the design, development , construction and opening of the Moonee Ponds MindBody Health Centre.

Colour: part 2

Color is powerful.

Most of us take color and its impact on us totally for granted. It affects us mostly at a subliminal level of awareness, but its effects on us are powerful none the less. That is why in creating a consciously constructed healing environment, such as Moonee Ponds MindBody Health Centre, color has been a major consideration rather than being simply an aesthetic or decorative choice.

Edgar Cayce, a well known clairvoyant who lived in the early 1900’s defined color this way: “Color is vibration; vibration is motion, motion (frequency) slows to coalesce into form. In essence, form can be looked at as crystallized music. The vibrations we reflect of those color vibrations received from without, mirror our own soul through the colors we choose to have around us and our color preferences. As human beings, if we are to have growth on all levels of being from physical to spiritual, we must learn to use color vibrations consciously and constructively.”

Color is vibration and has wavelengths which effect living tissues. When wavelengths of color vibration are received by the human body, they penetrate and stimulate or slow down various glands, organs and systems within the body. The body mentally and physically responds to color vibrations immediately whether we are consciously aware of it or not.

Basically, the first three colors in the spectrum red, orange and yellow are associated with the earth and correspond with the first three chakras in the human energy field.

Red stimulates and energizes, creating vitality.

Orange builds confidence and courage.

Yellow stimulates clear mental functioning and cheerfulness.

Green sits in the middle in the heart area of the human body and is the great balancer and harmonizer. It is a master healer.

The upper chakra colors of blue, indigo/purple, violet and white, correspond with the less dense frequencies of air.

Blue inspires, yet also makes serene.

Indigo/purple is both a purifier and opener to high frequency awareness.

Violet uplifts and opens higher centers of awareness, opening psychic vision, uniting devotion and intuition.

Clear white light vibrates and unifies the entire field in a chakra that exists just above the crown on the head.

Our bodies are designed to assimilate color as a kind of vibratory “food”. The subtle bodies which clairvoyants can see, that surround the physical body are rooted in our 7 chakra’s (color energy wheels from the Sanskrit) which combine to form the auric color field that surrounds the physical body, which is called the “etheric body”.

This has been documented scientifically with a form of photography called Kirlian Photography. Some highly sensitive healers can actually see these energetic color fields of the chakras and from the color and condition of the auric field alone can diagnosis illness in the various systems of the human body. How miraculous that we are so sensitively designed as human beings!

The potential for illness shows up in these subtle energy bodies before it actually manifests in the physical body. Dark spots, tares or washed out color areas in the auric color field indicate that, though an illness may not have physically manifested as yet, if holistic measures are not taken to bring into balance that which is out of balance, (mentally, physically, emotionally, spiritually), disease will certainly manifest in the near future.

That is why an holistic approach such as Moonee Ponds MindBodyHealth Centre is using is so essential and valuable. Its focus is on creating vibrant health and the prevention of disease. In a holistic system, the human being is looked at as a totality from all the different lenses from physical to spiritual, to discover where an imbalance that is needing to be brought to awareness and corrected actually lies.

That is why there are so many different practitioners in the health center.

Each one represents a different facet of a healing whole, that is brought to bear in the holistic diagnosis and treatment of each person who comes to the center.
