Beauty is in the detail

There is so much beauty to be found in the smallest things.

I have often questioned whether i am a bit nuts, but i absolutely love these images as they point out the geometry that is inherent even in the joins between columns and plasterwork.

So far all of this has just been floating around as visions in our heads, these details are what keep us up at night, and early sketches or detailed documentation cant show this. It is only now that the building is taking shape and plasterwork, paint and cornices are being added that we can start to see the beauty of the geometry unfolding before our eyes.

Geometry is the crux of growth and when you look at the spiral affect of the corner positions of the roof line meeting the walls and the shapes created by the partition walls it is like looking into a spiral growth pattern such as that of cactus plants for example.
