There is so much significance in the nautilus shell for this new health centre.1. it is the symbol of all things sacred, and a classic piece of geometry.
2. it is a form that Dr Anne Small, the owner, creator and founder of the health centre, really resonates with and, as such, she found an amazing fossilized nautilus shell sculpture some time ago.
3. this sculpture was requested to be designed into the building somehow and it will have pride of place in the reception area above and behind the desk
4. the spiral shape of the nautilis is also the natural inspiration behind the new logo for Moonee Ponds MindBody Health
here are some pics of Michael , Anne and myself checking for the location and geometry of the shell now that the timber partition walls have been put in place, such fun, and thanks Michael for the blue bin inspiration! we cant wait to see it for real!
